Heard learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents and perused the record. 2. This writ petition has been filed for following relief:- " I. a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus commanding/directing to the respondent по.2 i.e. Nayab Tehsildar, Nawabganj, Tehsil- Soraon, District-Prayagraj to decide the mutation proceeding in case No.3590 of 2024, as well as computerized case No.T202502030303590 filed by the petitioner before the respondent no.2, under section 34/35, U.P. Revenue Code, forthwith within stipulated period." 3. From perusal of writ petition and the annexures annexed thereto, it is apparent that the mutation proceedings are pending since 2024 and several dates have been fixed by the Court concerned, however, till date, the same has not been decided. 4. No useful purpose would be served in keeping this petition pending. 5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the present petition stands disposed of finally with a direction to respondent No. 2- Nayab Tehsildar, Nawabganj, Tehsil- Soraon, District- Prayagraj to consider and decide the aforementioned case, in accordance with law, expeditiously, preferably within a period of six months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order after hearing all the concerned parties and giving a reasonable opportunity of leading evidence in respect of their case provided there is no other legal impediment.
