The prayer in this writ petition is to hold that the action of the second respondent in not considering the Bachelor of Science Degree in Biotechnology subject as Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics or Science subjects as illegal and unconstitutional and consequently, to consider the petitioner’s application for the post of Assistant Teacher in Government Secondary School. 2. This Court while entertaining the writ petition had granted interim relief directing to keep one post vacant. 3. Learned Assistant Government Pleader places on record a decision rendered in Special Civil Application No.18114 of 2017, in which the question raised in this writ petition has been raised C/SCA/6208/2017 ORDER DATED: 11/07/2025 and the Coordinate Bench of this Court placing reliance on the Government Resolution bearing No.MSB/1116/12/CHH had disposed of the writ petition and had directed the respondents to take into consideration the policy decision taken in the said resolution dated 21.12.2017 and pass consequential orders in the case of the petitioner therein. 4. In the light of the fact that the learned Assistant Government Pleader submits that the issues are covered by the decision rendered in Special Civil Application No.18114 of 2017, this petition is also DISPOSED OF in the same terms as that of Special Civil Application No.18114 of 2017.
