GP FOR HOME The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... to issue Writ order or direction more particularly one in the nature of Writ of Mandamus, declare the action of 3rd respondent on threatening to implicate petitioner in false cases, without issuing any notice illegal detain and in repeatedly insisting the petitioner to appear before the respondent No.3 2 office and insisting to settle Civil dispute and without following due process of law is illegal, arbitrary, highhanded, colorable exercise of their powers and violative of Article 21 of The Constitution of India and consequently direct the Respondent No. 3 not to interfere in civil disputes and not to call the petitioner to their police station/officer.” 2. Sri Ramineni Sudheer, learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the police are calling the petitioner to the police station to settle the civil disputes pending between the parties. 3. Sri Md.Farooq, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home seeks time to get instructions in the matter. 4. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, the police are directed not to interfere in the civil disputes between the parties. In the event of any crime registered against the petitioner, the police are directed to follow due process of law. The police are further directed not to call the petitioner to the police station informally, unless a crime has been registered against the petitioner. There shall be no order as to costs.
