Heard Sri Daggubati Ramaswamy Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Endowments. 2.
The grievance of the petitioner is that the 2nd respondent had not passed any order on the representation of the petitioner, dated 07.02.2025 seeking deletion of the subject property from the prohibitory list under section 22A(1)(c) of the Stamps and Registration Act,1908. 3. The petitioner is a decree holder in O.S. No.187 of 2019 on the file of the learned I Additional Senior Civil Judge, Guntur. The suit was filed by the petitioner against one Yelavarthi Tejaswi and Yelavarthi Krishnaveni for

specific performance of the agreement of sale dated 02-06-2018. The suit was decreed. In execution proceedings, the draft sale deed was sent to the Sub-Registrar, Guntur for registration. The Registrar vide endorsement dated 07-02-2025, had informed that the subject property is under the prohibited list of properties u/s. 22A(1)(c) of the Registration Act,1908, stating that the said properties would belong to Sri Kanchi Kamakshi and Ekamabareswara Swamy temple, Guntur. Accordingly, the petitioner made a representation on 07-02- 2025 to the 2nd respondent seeking deletion of the property from the prohibited list. However, the 2nd respondent did not pass any orders on the said representation. 4. Having regard to contentions of the both parties, since the representation of the petitioner is pending for consideration before the 2nd respondent, this court deems it appropriate dispose of the writ petition directing the 2nd respondent to pass appropriate orders on the representation of the petitioner, dated 07.02.2025, after giving opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, within six (06) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5. With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
