This is a contempt proceeding arising from an order dated July 4, 2024.
The sole contemnor/pradhan of the concerned panchayat has filed compliance report under the nomenclature supplementary affidavit affirmed on May 16, 2025. The petitioner has also filed an exception in the form of affidavit thereto affirmed on April 7, 2025.
After considering the submissions made on behalf of the parties and on perusal of the said two
2 affidavits it appears to this court that the direction of this court stands complied with by the alleged contemnor/pradhan.
Nothing further survives in this contempt proceeding.
In view of the above, WPCRC 17 of 2025 stands dropped and closed.
Rule, issued stands discharged.
Accordingly, the application WPCRC 17 of 2025 stands disposed of, without any order as to costs.
