The present writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to remove the encroachment. 2. Learned Additional Government Pleader, based on the written instructions given by the Tahsildar, Coimbatore (North), would submit that during the course of survey, the revenue authorities identified encroachment on the road. In other words, portion of the land classified as public land has been encroached upon and some constructions are made. 3. In view of the said factum, the respondents 2 and 3 are directed to initiate enforcement action and remove the encroachments by following the procedure as contemplated under relevant Statute and Rules in force. The said exercise is directed to be completed within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
