No. 2269 of 2025 Heard the learned counsel for the respective parties. This application has been preferred by the appellant for condoning a delay of 42 days in filing the appeal. Having been satisfied with the reasons assigned in this application, the delay of 42 days which had occurred in filing this appeal is condoned and this I.A. is allowed and disposed of. Cr. Appeal (DB) No. 402 of 2025 This appeal is directed against the order dated 14.11.2024, passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge-I, Rajmahal in ABP No. 300 of 2024 in connection with Radhanagar PS Case No. 132 of 2024, whereby and whereunder, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the appellant has been rejected. It has been alleged that one Rintu Sheikh was apprehended and from his possession three fake currency notes were recovered. He had disclosed the name of his brother-in-law Aisuddin Sheikh, who in turn, in his confessional statement has named the appellant as the person from whom such fake currency notes were obtained by him. Regard being had to the fact that the implication of the appellant seems to be on the confessional statement of one of the co-accused persons, we while setting aside the order dated 14.11.2024, passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge-I, Rajmahal in ABP No. 300 of 2024 in connection with Radhanagar PS Case No. 132 of 2024 direct the appellant to surrender before the learned trial court within four weeks from today and on such surrender, he shall be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Rajmahal in connection with Radhanagar PS Case No. 132 of 2024, subject to the conditions as laid down under Section 482(2) of the Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023.
