(ORAL) The present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of Inida for issuance of directions to respondent Nos.2 and 3 for releasing the detenue namely Sajida from the illegal custody of private respondents.
2. It is, inter alia, contended by learned counsel for the petitioner that the detenue has been illegally detained by the private respondents against her will and in this regard, the petitioner had moved a representation to respondent No.2, but till date no action thereon has been taken. Learned counsel for the petitioner restricts her prayer and submits that for the purpose of this petition, the petitioner will be satisfied if directions are given to respondent No.2 to consider and dispose of the representation/application dated 05.04.2025 (Annexure P-4) in accordance with law in an expeditious manner.

4. On the asking of the Court, Mr. Surender Singh, A.A.G. Haryana accepts notice on behalf of respondent-State and submits that the aforesaid representation will be disposed of in an expeditious manner in accordance with law.
5. After considering the respective submissions made by learned counsel for the petitioner and the averments made in the petition, without commenting on the merits thereof, the present petition is disposed of with direction to respondent No.2-Superintendent of Police, Nuh to consider and dispose of the representation/application dated 05.04.2025 (Annexure P-4) in accordance with law in an expeditious manner. The decision so taken be intimated to the petitioner as well.
