ORDER The Writ Petition is filed for a Mandamus directing the respondents to initiate action on the petitioner's representation dated 25.01.2025.

Upon hearing the learned counsel for the petitioner and perusing the material records of the case, the grievance of the petitioner is that there are number of tipper lorries which are transporting the minerals such as granites, blue metals, m-sand etc. In order to avoid being monitored in the highways and main roads, all these vehicles are entering into a narrow road through KLS https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
W.P.No.16425 of 2025 Nagar in Makkinampatti, Pollachi to reach Udumalai – Palani main road. Neither the road can bear such a traffic nor the weight. The area is also densely populated residential area. It also pollutes the entire road and also the houses, in view of the number of vehicles running through the road. It is also causing danger to the life of the local residents. In view thereof, the petitioners have made a representation to the respondents on 25.01.2025.
3. Mr.V.Manoharan, the learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 to 4.
4. In view of the nature of relief that is passed, the Writ Petition is
disposed of at the admission stage itself, (i) The 1st respondent – District Collector, either by himself or through his subordinate, is directed to consider the petitioners’ representation dated
25.01.2025. The petitioners shall be given an opportunity of being heard, and a personal hearing shall also be extended to other interested persons; (ii) Due orders shall be passed in the representation of the petitioners https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
