By this petition, petitioners herein, have alleged non-compliance of order passed by this Court dated 21.10.2008, whereby respondents were directed to consider the claim of petitioner No. 2, for payment of appropriate ex-gratia relief, relevant portion of the aforesaid order reads thus:- “Respondents shall consider petitioner No.2’s case too for payment of appropriate ex-gratia relief to her to which she may be entitled in terms of the Orders issued by the Government in this behalf for grant of ex-gratia relief to those who are injured in the militants attack. The respondents shall complete this exercise and pass appropriate orders in this behalf within a period of three months.” 2. Learned counsel for the petitioners states that the order passed by this Court on 21.10.2008, has been complied with by the respondents. 3. Learned counsel for the respondents states that whatever the petitioner were entitled to, has been granted to them, as such, the respondents have Sr. No. 24 2 implemented the order dated 21.10.2008 passed by this Court in letter and spirit. 4. In view of the above, nothing remains to be adjudicated upon in the instant contempt proceedings, as such, the proceedings are closed. However, liberty is granted to the petitioners to challenge the action of respondents on the delayed payment of ex-gratia relief, which was due to the petitioners in the year 2008 and has been paid in the year 2025, if they desire so.
