The case projected by the petitioner, in a nutshell, is that respondent No.1 issued an advertisement inviting post of the Constable (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles, and Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau Examination-2025. The Petitioner applied for the post and she was issued an admission card for appearing in the examination by respondent No.1. The Petitioner appeared examination and cleared it thereafter, respondent No.2 issued the admit card for appearing in the physical test to be held on
09.11.2024. The Petitioner appeared in the physical test and qualified it. After passing the physical test, the petitioner appeared for verification of documents. But the authorities avoided to verify her caste certificate, in which “Meena” caste was notified as
“Scheduled Tribe” category for employment in the Central Government. The respondent authorities have wrongly rejected
3 her candidature for Scheduled Tribe category and considered her as unreserved category and due to noncompeting in the height criteria, rejected her candidature. Hence, this petition. 4. Mr. Tarendra Kumar Jha, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner belongs to “Meena” Caste, which is a
“Scheduled Tribe” and as such, she applied for the post of Constable in the CAPFs. He further submits that she was eligible in all respect, as she has cleared the written test as well as physical examination.
However, on the date of verification of the documents, her documents could not be verified, as according to the petitioner, she was having all her documents, as such, an opportunity may be granted to her to come with the documents before the respondent authorities and the respondent authorities be further directed to consider the case of the petitioner and pass appropriate order after verification of the documents. 5. On the other hand, Mr. Neeraj Baghel, learned counsel appearing for the respondents submits that looking to the aforesaid aspect, they will consider the document on its own merits and after due verification, they will pass the necessary order in respect of the appointment of the petitioner. 6. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the documents annexed with the writ petition. 4
7. Considering the submissions advanced on behalf of the parties, the respondent authorities are directed to consider the case of the petitioner after due verification of the documents, which are required to be verified.
