ORAL ORDER The learned counsel for the petitioner files a memo dated 24-02-2025 which reads as below:
"The Petitioner respectfully submits that the present writ petition was filed seeking relief in relation to the allotment of an alternative site, praying for the issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus along with other prayers. The Petitioner and the Respondents are currently engaged in discussions regarding the allotment of the alternative site, and the matter is being considered at the administrative level.
In light of the ongoing discussions, the Petitioner does not wish to press the present writ petition at this stage and seeks permission to withdraw it. The Petitioner further prays that this withdrawal be without prejudice to the Petitioner's rights and remedies, including the

right to seek appropriate reliefs before this Hon'ble Court or any other forum in the future, in the event of non-fulfilment or failure of the ongoing discussions.
In view of the above, the Petitioner humbly prays that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to permit the withdrawal of the present writ petition, while reserving the Petitioner's right to initiate appropriate proceedings, as and when necessary."

3. The petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty as sought for.
