HIGH COURT OF TRIPURA AGARTALA A.B. 7/2025 Md. Mamun Ahmmed ----Applicant(s) Versus The State of Tripura ----Respondent(s) For Applicant(s) : Mr. BN Majumder, Sr. Advocate Mr. K. Deb, Advocate For Respondent(s) : Mr. R. Saha, Addl. PP HON’BLE MR. JUSTICE ARINDAM LODH Order 11/02/2025 Pursuant to the order dated 05.02.2025, learned Additional PP has produced the case diary. Heard Mr. BN Majumder, learned senior counsel assisted by Mr. K. Deb, learned counsel appearing for the applicant. Also heard Mr. R. Saha, learned Additional PP appearing for the respondent-State. I have perused the case diary. In the order dated 05.02.2025, I have observed that the integrity of the complainant is very much doubtful. This observation of mine becomes more stronger after perusal of the case diary. Vide order dated 05.02.2025, this court allowed the applicant to go on interim bail till today imposing certain conditions to which the applicant had complied with and there is no adverse report from the Investigating Officer. In view of this, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the applicant. Accordingly, it is ordered that, in the event of arrest, the applicant, namely, Mamun Ahmmed, may be released on executing a bond of Rs. 50,000/- with one surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of the arresting authority. With the above observations and directions, the instant anticipatory bail application stands allowed and thus disposed of. Return back the case diary.
