The applicant has preferred this second bail application under Section 483 of Bhartiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita 2023 for grant of regular bail as he has been arrested on 16-3-2024 in connection with Crime No. 6 of 2024 registered at Police Station – Taregaon Jungle, District Kabeerdham, (CG) 2 for alleged commission of offences under Sections 302, 201/34 120-B, 147 & 148 of IPC. First bail application of the applicant was dismissed on merit vide order dated 5-9-2024 in MCRC No.5302 of 2024. 2. Learned counsel, for the applicant would submit that the appellant is in jail since 16-3-2024, out of 27 witnesses only six witnesses have been examined so far and now the matter is fixed for further evidence on 27-3-2025. He would further submit that he seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this bail petition with a prayer that a direction may be given to the trial court to expedite the trial. 3. Considering the fact that out of 27 witnesses, 6 witnesses have already been examined and remaining 21 witnesses have to be examined and further considering the fact that the applicant is in jail since 16-3-2024, it is directed that the trial Court shall expedite the trial within an outer limit of 1 year and three months from 27-3-2025. 4. With the aforesaid observation and direction, the instant MCRC is dismissed as withdrawn.
