Neutral Citation No. - 2025:AHC:61196 Court No. - 5 Case :- WRIT - A No. - 5200 of 2025 Petitioner :- Amrish Kumar Respondent :- State Of U.P. And 4 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Chandan Sharma,Rahul Agarwal Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C.,Shiv Kumar Singh Hon'ble Ajay Bhanot,J. The petitioner claims that he is entitled to annual increment from July 2018 till July 2022 and other consequences service benefits. He has made a representation in this regard but to no avail. The only prayer made by Shri Chandan Sharma, learned counsel assisted by Shri Rahul Agrawal, learned counsel for the petitioner is that the representation of the petitioner may be decided within a stipulated period of time. Shri Shivam Singh, learned counsel for the respondent nos. 3 to 5 submits that the matter requires determination of facts by the competent authority as per law in the first instance. However, he fairly contends that service benefit/claim is liable to be decided by the competent authority in a reasonable time frame. In light of the submissions made at the Bar and without going into the merits of the case, the respondent no. 1 is directed to decide the representation of the petitioner for grant of annual increment from July 2018 till July 2022 and other consequences benefits as per law within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order along with a fresh copy of the representation. In case the respondent no. 1 is not the competent authority, this order shall be forwarded to by the respondent no. 1 to the competent authority and the directions shall be binding upon the said competent authority as well. With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition is finally disposed of. Order Date :- 23.4.2025 Dhananjai Digitally signed by :- DHANANJAI High Court of Judicature at Allahabad
