The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Ormanjhi P.S. Case No. 176/2024(N) corresponding to N.D.P.S. Case No. 07/2025, for the offences registered under Sections 20(b)(ii)(B)/ 25/ 29 of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the Court of learned Judicial Commissioner-cum-Special Judge, Ranchi. 3. On 05.11.2024, at about 11:30 P.M., Ormanjhi Police intercepted a bus bearing Registration No. UP67AT-3277 from a place near Deepak Dhaba located at S.S.T. Check Post. On search, 9.388 kgs of cannabis were recovered from the possession of the petitioner. 4. It was submitted that the quantum of seized cannabis comes within the purview of intermediary quantity. It was further submitted that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and this fact has been mentioned at Paragraph-16 of this Bail Application. 5. Mr. Bhola Nath Ojha, learned Special P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail, but does not dispute the aforesaid facts. 6. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Commissioner-cum-Special Judge, Ranchi in connection with Ormanjhi P.S.
