The prayer made in this writ petition is to direct the respondent -State to fill up vacancies of Scheduled Tribes on the post of Horticulture Officer Class – II in the department of Agriculture and Cooperation by way of proper selection procedure. Another prayer is also made to direct the respondent- State not to advertise and/or initiate any procedure for advertisement of filling up the vacancies on the post of Horticulture Officer Class-II in the department of Agriculture and Cooperation pending disposal of this petition. 2. The petitioner is an organization which is registered under the Societies Registration Act and is working for the welfare, betterment and representing the cause of Schedule Tribes, Scheduled Castes and other Backward Classes. 3. In my view, the prayer sought for at the instance of the petitioner cannot be considered by this Court, however having C/SCA/5009/2017 ORDER DATED: 11/07/2025 regard to the grievances, it would be appropriate to permit the petitioner to make a representation to the first respondent within a period of FOUR WEEKS from today and on such representation being submitted, the first respondent shall consider the same in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders. 4.
