ORDER: ...RESPONDENT/COMPLAINANT This Criminal Petition, u/Sec.480 & 483 of the BNSS, has been filed by the petitioner/A6, seeking bail, in Crime No.54/2024 of G.Madugula Police Station, ASR District.
2. A case has been registered against the petitioner and others for the offence punishable u/Sec.111(2)(b) of B.N.S and Sec.20(b)(ii)(C) , 25 r/w 8(c) Of NDPS Act. Heard learned counsel for the Public Prosecutor representing the respondent/State.

2 Case of the prosecution, in brief, is that, on 02.12.2024 at 4.00 pm, on .
4. receipt of credible information regarding illegal possession and transportation of ganja, the S.l of Police, along with staff and mediators rushed to Eedulabayalu junction, G.Madugula Mandal and found four persons in suspicious circumstances. On enquiry, they disclosed their identity particulars as that of A1, A4 to A6 and police found 400 kgs of ganja in their possession. Police arrested them and remanded them to judicial custody and seized the contraband.
5. Heard. Perused the record. Learned Assistant Public Prosecutor submits that major part of the
6. investigation is completed except filing of charge sheet for want of RFSL report and prays to dismiss the petition.
Learned counsel for the petitioner contended that the petitioner has
7. been in judicial custody since 02.12.2024 and he has permanentabode and prays to allow the petition.
8. The record shows that the petitioner has been in judicial custody from
02.12.2024. The seized contraband is 400 kgs of ganja which is huge quantity. In view of bar contained under Section 37 of the NDPS Act, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.
9. In the result, the Criminal Petition is dismissed.
