This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for:
“.... a Writ of Mandamus to declare the action of the Respondents No.l to 3 in opening the Rowdy Sheet NO.56/D4/DCRB-GTRU/2019 dated 17-10- 2019 against the Petitioner and maintaining the same in the 1st Respondent Police Station on the ground that the Petitioner is involved in one Crime and disturbing the personal liberty of the Petitioner as is arbitrary and illegal and violation of Article 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently direct the Respondents No.l to 3 to close the

Rowdy Sheet No.56/D4/DCRB- GTRU/2019 dated 17-10-2019 pending against the Petitioner in the 1st Respondent Police Station forthwith in interest of justice.”
2. Ms.P.Srilatha Reddy, learned counsel for the Petitioner would submit that, except one case, no other cases are pending against the Petitioner and hence, the rowdy sheet opened against the Petitioner may be closed.
3. Sri P.Ajay Babu, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home would submit that several cases are pending against the Petitioner. Therefore, the rowdy sheet opening against the Petitioner cannot be closed at this stage.
4. Considering the submissions made, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, the Petitioner is at liberty to file an appropriate application at an appropriate time. There shall be no order as to costs.
