Petitioner is serving as Peon-cum-Chowkidar at GMS Sajla, under complex GSSS Haripur, Tehsil and District Kullu w.e.f. 10.12.2021. By way of this petition, he seeks a direction to respondent No.2 to decide his representation dated 04.12.2024 (Annexure P-5) in accordance with law within a time-bound schedule.

Petitioner’s case is that he is facing adverse family circumstances inasmuch as his wife is suffering from

a brain disease known as ‘Left Frontal Conveixy Meningioma’. The petitioner has to take care of his wife, who is under treatment. Petitioner has lost his one son in an accident. His another son is stated to be studying at Kullu and residing there in a rental accommodation. Because of petitioner’s posting at a long distance from his native place, he is not in a position to look after and manage the needs of his family members.

Taking into consideration the adverse family circumstances pointed out by the petitioner, this writ petition is disposed of by directing respondent No.2/competent authority to consider the aforesaid representation of the petitioner dated 04.12.2024 (Annexure P-5) sympathetically and decide the same in accordance with law and applicable policy within a period of four weeks from today. The decision so arrived at shall also be communicated to the petitioner.
The writ petition stands disposed of in the above terms, so also the pending miscellaneous application(s), if any.
