1. The respondents have filed a supplementary counter affidavit which goes to indicate that after award of the work to the successful bidder, the work has been duly completed, thereby rendering the writ petition infructuous.
2. It is relevant to reproduce paragraph nos.4 and 5 of the said supplementary counter affidavit, which read as under:
“4. That the petitioner in the writ petition has prayed for quashing / cancelling / rescinding the Bid Inviting Tender (NIT) for Open Tender Enquiry issued vide BI No. NO2/OTE- 849/7000014935, NO2/OTE-849/7000014934, NO2/OTE- 849/7000014933 dated 03.07.2021 and BI No. NO2/OTE- 849/7000014756 dated 05.07.2021.
5. That it is stated that with respect of Open Tender Enquiry No. 849, work order to the successful bidder vide Work Order No. 4565046153 for the work commencing from 19.10.2022 to 31.07.2023 and after award of contract, the work is already complete. With respect of Open Tender Enquiry No. 840, Work

Order No. 4656046411 was issued for period commencing from 14.11.2022 to 13.05.2023 and after award of contract, the work is already complete. Similarly, Open Tender Enquiry No. 847, Work Order No. 46565046205 was issued for period commencing from 22.10.2022 to 21.07.2023 and Open Tender Enquiry No. 848, Work Order No. 45650463941 was issued for the period 11.11.2022 to 10.05.2023.”
3. Accordingly, the present writ petition is ordered to be dismissed as having been rendered infructuous.
4. In case, the petitioner has any other or further grievance, he is at liberty to avail of such remedy as available to him under the law.
