The grievance of the petitioners in the Writ Petition is against the respondent in not handing over the case investigation to CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation). However, subsequently the government has passed orders referring the matter to CBI to investigate the case under Section 6 of the Delhi Police Establishment Act (DSPEC Act) vide G.O.Ms.No.56, Home (SC-A) Department dated 28.05.2020 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the relief sought in the Writ Petition thus would not survive and no further orders are required to be passed in the Writ Petition. 4 4. In view of the same, the relief sought in the Writ Petition would not merit consideration. 5. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs.
