ORDER:-
The present Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking the following relief:
“…issue a Writ, order, or direction more particularly a Writ of Mandamus, declaring the action of the 4th Respondent in issuing Notice vide R.C.A/351/2025 dated.9.08.2025 relating to Sy.No.267 of Ponnalur Village and Mandal, Prakasam District as illegal, arbitrary, without jurisdiction, violative of Articles 14 .21, and 300-A of the Constitution of India and consequently set aside the same and further direct the Respondents not to interfere with Petitioners possession and not to alter as well as reduce with the existing ROR records, Pattadar Passbooks and Title Deeds of the Petitioners in respect of their agricultural lands in Sy.No.267 of Ponnalur Village, except by due process of law before a competent civil court and to pass…”
2. Being aggrieved over the notice dated 29.08.2025 issued by respondent No.4-Tahsidar, the petitioners have filed the present writ petition challenging the direction to attend an enquiry with all relevant records for conducting the survey.

Learned counsel for the petitioners would submit, it would suffice if the Court directs the respondent No.4 – Tahsildar to consider the explanation dated 01.09.2025 which was submitted to the notice dated 29.08.2025, and to pass appropriate orders in accordance with law.
4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader would submit that the respondent authorities will consider the explanation submitted by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders, in accordance with law.

In view of the above submission, without expressing any opinion on merits of the matter, the present Writ Petition is disposed of at the admission stage, directing the respondent No.4 to examine the explanation submitted by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law and communicate the decision to the petitioner as expeditiously as possible. Till such time, respondent No.4 is directed not to take any coercive steps against subject property. There shall be no order as to costs.
As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
