This writ petition is filed aggrieved by the action of the respondents for non-payment of the bills for the works undertaken by the petitioner. 2. Heard the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Government Pleader for Municipal Administration and Urban Development, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Finance and Planning, and the learned Standing Counsel for the respondent- Corporation. 3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has executed the works, viz., laying of CC Road from D.No.13-11-603 to ARNN Residency in Tata Nagar and laying of UGD pipeline from D.No.13-6-600/21/A to 13-6-600/33 in PK Layout Ward No.11/1 (Gadapagadapa Programme), vide agreement No.272/Ε.Ε/2023-2024, dated 30.09.2023, as entrusted by the 6th respondent. 4. The learned counsel further submits that the petitioner duly executed all the works to the satisfaction of the 6th respondent. It is further submitted that after execution of the works, the competent authority recorded the progress of the work in M Books and final quality assessments were also done by the 7th respondent and thereafter the petitioner has submitted respective final bills aggregating for a sum of 3 W.P. No.25973 OF 2025 Date of order: 23.09.2025 Rs.19,04,229/- and respondents 4 and 6 approved the same. However, no payment has been made to the petitioner. 5. During the course of the hearing, the learned Standing Counsel appearing for respondents 3 to 7 does not dispute the submissions made by the petitioner with respect to the completion of the work undertaken. 6. Considering the submissions, respondents 2, 4 and 8 are hereby directed to verify and release the payments due payable to the petitioner as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six (06) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 7.
