By the present writ petition, the petitioner is seeking a direction towards the respondent authorities to take appropriate steps regarding the removal of encroachment by the private respondents over the Government grass land bearing Khasra No.566 situated in village Sambalpur, Tahsil Nandghat, District Bemetara. 2. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that in spite of the order dated 28/02/2023 passed by the Tahsildar and the order dated 12/04/2024 passed by the SDO (Revenue), Nawagarh Annexure P/4 & Annexure P/5 respectively directing the removal of encroachment, no step has been taken by the respondent authorities for the removal of private respondents from the encroachment over the Government grass land. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the respondents/State, on instruction, submits that though there is an order of removal of encroachment but the order of eviction could not be implemented. He further submits that the SDO has assured that the order passed by the Tahsildar as well as the order passed by him, will be implemented within a period of 50 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order as there is no challenge to the order of the Tahsildar as well as the order of the SDO. 3 / 3 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the documents. 5. In view of the aforesaid submissions made by the learned counsel for the parties, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the concerned authorities to implement its orders within a period of 50 days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
