GP FOR FINANCE PLANNING 3 The Court made the following order: The grievance of the petitioner is that despite finalization of bills, the respondent authorities are withholding the balance payment of Rs.5,40,405/- payable to the petitioner in relation to the work i.e., for the construction of community hall at Billuboimmayapalli village of Dharmavaram Mandal under the CMDF Funds 2022-2023. 2. When the matter is taken up for consideration today, Ms.Chandrika, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Panchayat Raj & Rural Development, placed on record the written instructions of the Executive Engineer, PRI Division, Penukonda, dated 12.11.2025 and submitted that, the authorities have admitted the bills of the petitioner and that there is no dispute regarding the amount claimed by the petitioner, however sought four months time for payment of the said amount. 3. To the said submission, Sri Dasari S.V.V.S.V.Prasad, learned counsel for the petitioner, reported no objection with respect to the admitted amount, but submitted that the request for four months’ time is excessive, as the work pertains to the year 2022-23 and prayed to pass appropriate orders in that regard. 4. In view of the facts and circumstances of the case and taking the submissions of learned counsel for the parties into consideration, as the authorities have expressed their intention to pay the admitted amount to the 4 petitioner, there is no purpose in keeping this Writ Petition pending. As such, this Court is inclined to dispose of the same, with the consent of both the parties, at the admission stage itself, by passing the following order: “The respondent authorities are directed to pay an amount of Rs.5,40,405/- (Rupees Five Lakhs Forty Thousand Four Hundred and Five only) to the petitioner within a period of ten (10) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.” 5. Accordingly, the Writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
