The petitioner has been made accused in connection with N.D.P.S. Case No. 109/2023 arising out of GRPS Tatanagar P.S. Case No. 79 of 2023, for the offences registered under Sections 20(b)(ii), 29 of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the Court of learned I/C Special Judge, NDPS Act, Jamshepdur. 3. On 06.09.2023, co-accused Anand Kumar and Nagina Devi were apprehended by Tatanagar Police from Platform No. 4, Tatanagar Railway Station and on search, about 19 kgs of cannabis were recovered from their possession. 4. It was submitted that the name of the petitioner has transpired in the confession of the apprehended co-accused persons. It was further submitted that the petitioner was neither apprehended at the spot, nor anything was recovered from his possession. 5. Mr. Subodh Kumar Dubey, learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail, but does not dispute the aforesaid facts. 6. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned I.C.
