The matter arises out of a matrimonial dispute between the petitioner and respondent no.2. It is submitted that the petitioner and respondent no.2 have subsequently compromised and a compromise agreement has entered into before the Prl. Judge, III Additional Family Court at Mysuru. Copy of the same is produced herewith. As per the terms of the compromise, it is prayed that the criminal proceedings against the petitioner be quashed. 2. It is seen that the petitioner is alleged of offences under Sections 498A and 506 of IPC read with Sections 3 and 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961. Admittedly, the dispute is a marital in nature. The parties have arrived at a compromise. The petitioner is not alleged to have committed any heinous offence. Learned High Court Government Pleader appearing for respondent no.1 has no objection for quashing the proceedings against the petitioner herein. Hence, the following: ORDER i.
