By way of the present writ petition, the petitioner has sought issuance of an appropriate writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondents to conduct an enquiry and take action against the private individuals as well as Government officials who allowed illegal construction and further to decide the legal notice dated 27.12.2024 (Annexure P-7) in a time bound manner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that aggrieved from the inaction of the respondents, the petitioner has already served a legal notice dated 27.12.2024 (Annexure P-7) upon the respondents, but no action has been taken thereon till date. He further submits that the petitioner would be satisfied, if the respondent authorities are directed to deal with his RIMPAL RANI 2025.04.25 16.46 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
CWP-10693-2025 :2: concerns/grievances and pass appropriate order on the said legal notice.
3. Served with the advance copy of the petition, Mr. Sartaj S. Gill, Senior DAG, Punjab, for respondent Nos.1 to 5 is present in Court and submits that the said legal notice shall be considered and looked into by the competent authority, in accordance with law.

Without commenting on merits of the case, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3 (competent authority), to look into the legal notice dated 27.12.2024 (Annexure P-7) of the petitioner and take an appropriate action thereon, in accordance with law, preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy/production of this order.
5. Pending application(s), if any, shall also stand disposed of.
