This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for:
“…may be pleased to direct the respondents 2 to 5 to take action by considering the complaint dated 6.9.2025 and arrest respondents 6 and 7 and 8th respondent and his followers by conducting thorough investigation in this regard and to pass…”
02. Heard Sri Y.Ramatirtha, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home. 03. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that though a detailed complaint was given narrating the entire incident, no effective steps were taken by the concerned police. He further submits that CCTV footage relating to the alleged incident is available, but the police have failed to collect such evidence, which is crucial for a fair investigation. 04.
On the other hand, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home, on instructions, submitted that the police are already conducting enquiry into the complaint and that there shall be a direction to the concerned authorities to conduct investigation in a fair and proper manner strictly in accordance with law. 4

Having considered the submissions made on either side, this Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the respondent police to consider the complaint dated 06.09.2025 submitted by the petitioner and conduct a thorough, fair, and unbiased investigation in accordance with law. The investigating officer shall collect and verify all material evidence, including CCTV footage and any other relevant information, to ascertain the facts of the case. The petitioner is at liberty to approach the police and furnish any material or evidence available with him to facilitate proper investigation and in accordance with law. There shall be no order as to costs.
