Since the issue involved in both the case is similar, they are being 4 considered and decided by this common order. 2. By the present writ petitions, the petitioners, who have participated in the combined recruitment process for the post of Draftsman/ Assistant Draftsman (CDM) in the year 2018 conducted by C.G. Professional Examination Board whose names appeared in the select list/ merit list dated 19.07.2018, are seeking direction towards the respondent/ authorities to consider the candidature of the petitioners and issue appointment order. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submit that the name of the petitioners found place in the merit list of the combined recruitment process of 2018, however the petitioners are not being granted appointment as the appointment order are issued in the piecemeal manner by the department of PWD and Mining. He further submits that vide Annexure P-1 dated 09.09.2024 the petitioners have submitted representations by raising their grievance to both the department i.e. PWD and Mining, however the said representation is still pending and the same has not been decided till date. 4. Learned counsel for the respondents on instructions submit that as far as the PWD department is concerned there is no post lying vacant as all the posts have been filled up by the selected candidates. He further submits that if the representation is still pending before the respondent authorities, the same will be considered and decided in accordance with the applicable rules 5 within a stipulated period. 5. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the pleadings and the representation filed by the petitioners. 6. It is not in dispute that the petitioners have participated in the recruitment process for the post of Draftsman/ Assistant Draftsman in the joint recruitment process by the respondent No. 7 for PWD and Mining Department, however till date no appointment order has been issued by the petitioner inspite of the fact that the name of the petitioners found place in the select list of the recruitment process. As the petitioners herein are presently seeking limited relief of direction towards the respondent to decide the representation submitted by them, both the present writ petitions are disposed off with the direction to the concerned authority (Engineer in Chief, PWD and Director Mining) to decide the representation of the petitioners within a period of 45 days in accordance with law and rules. 7. The petitioners are at liberty to file a fresh representation before the concerned authority, if so desire. 8.
