In compliance with our order dated 10.03.2026, the learned counsel for the respondent has placed before us a copy of the Status Report dated 15.01.2026 filed by it before the Supreme Court, in a sealed cover. 2. We have perused the same and find that in Table No.1 of paragraph 11 of the same, the properties which are the subject matter This is a digitally signed order. We also take note of the order dated 12.02.2026 passed by the Supreme Court in WP(C) 940/2017, titled Bikram Chatterji & Ors. v. Union of India & Ors., which inter alia directs as under: “That being said, as the aforesaid status report of the DoE also states to the effect that the DoE is willing to undertake sale of attached assets, be it at Indore or elsewhere, if ordered to do so and has also cited a precedent in that regard, viz. the order dated 10.10.2025 passed in M.A. No.2227/2024 in W.P.(Crl.) No.31/2020, titled “Nowhera Shaik & Anr. vs. Union of India & Ors.”, we deem it appropriate to direct the DoE to undertake the sale of the attached properties, details of which have been furnished in Table- 1 at pages 7 and 8 of the aforesaid status report, in accordance with law and due procedure.” 4. In view of the above, we find that the subject matter of these appeals have been directed to be sold by the Directorate of Enforcement in accordance with law and due procedure. 5. The learned counsel for the appellants, however, submits that vide an order dated 07.11.2022, the Supreme Court had dismissed the I.A. No.8259/2019 filed by the appellants. He further submits that the order dated 12.02.2026 has been obtained by the Directorate of Enforcement without serving a copy of the Status Report and informing the appellants of the same. 6. While that be so, in view of the order dated 12.02.2026 of the Supreme Court referred hereinabove, nothing would survive in the present appeals. However, in case the appellants are able to obtain any clarification or direction from the Supreme Court, they shall be at This is a digitally signed order.
