1. Prayer in the instant civil writ petition filed under Articles 226/227 of Constitution of India is for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing the Notice dated 18.11.2024 (Annexure P-8), issued by the Municipal Council, Thanesar under Section 181 of Haryana Municipal Act, 1973 (in short '1973 Act'). 1.1 A further prayer has been made for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus for directing respondents to decide the representation dated 31.03.2025 (Annexure P-10), submitted by the petitioner.
2. In pursuance of advance copy of petition having been served upon respondents, Mr. Jagdish Manchanda, Advocate appears and files Vakalatnama on behalf of respondent No. 6 (Municipal Council, Thanesar), in Court today itself, which is taken on record subject to all just exceptions.

Learned counsel for respondent No. 6 has handed over a copy of an order dated 06.02.2025, passed by District Magistrate, Kurukshetra, directing removal of encroachment over Khasra No. 31//20/2/2, in Court today itself, which is taken on record subject to all just exceptions and copy of same has been supplied to counsel opposite. It is further submitted that in pursuance to the aforesaid order, the unauthorized possession of the petitioner over the said khasra number already stands removed.
3. At this stage, learned counsel for petitioner submits that in the above referred order dated 06.02.2025, the contentions of the petitioner are not recorded, accordingly, he may be permitted to withdraw this petition with liberty to challenge the aforesaid order dated 06.02.2025 in accordance with law.
4. Ordered accordingly.
5. Pending application (s), if any, shall also stand closed.
