Records of the case reflect that petitioner approached this Court as there were disputes relating to the petitioner’s parking lot and rumors being spread thereby harassing the petitioner’s customers and staff. To that effect, information was furnished to the police authorities but no steps have been taken. Having considered the period of time which has passed since the information was sent to the Commissioner of Police, Asansol, I am of the view that if the petitioner is faced with similar inconveniences he would file a fresh representation which the Commissioner of Police through his authorized officer would consider in accordance with law. As none appears on behalf of the State, Ms. Dipanwita Ghosh Chowdhury, learned advocate is directed to represent the State. Her appearance may be regularized by the concerned authorities. 2 With the aforesaid observations WPA 27135 of 2024 is disposed of.
