Petitioners have been made accused in connection with Daltonganj (Town) P.S. Case No.450 of 2024, arising out of NDPS Case No.32 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 20(b)(II)B of the NDPS Act, pending in the Court of learned Special Judge, NDPS, Palamau. On 11.12.2024 at about 4:00 P.M., Daltonganj Town police apprehended these petitioners from Daltonganj railway station and seized about 1.966 kg. of cannabis from their joint possession. It was submitted that quantum of seized cannabis comes within the purview of intermediary quantity. It was further submitted that petitioners have got no criminal antecedent and this fact has been mentioned at paragraph-14 of this Bail Application. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioners, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioners, named above, are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, NDPS, Palamau, in connection with Daltonganj (Town) P.S.
