This writ petition has been filed with the following reliefs :- "i. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondent nos.2 to 4 to provide proper and expedient protection and save petitioners who are home arrest. ii. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondent nos.2 to 4 to take action against respondent no.5 to 6 with expedient safeguards. iii. In the event, an application is filed praying for security then the same would be considered and decided in accordance with law by the District Magistrate within a period of two weeks from the date of presentation the representation/application along with a certified copy of this order. 4. If by any chance the District Magistrate is of the view that he does not have the authority to pass orders then he would refer the relevant papers to the appropriate authority who would, in his turn, pass orders in accordance with law within two weeks of the receipt of the papers. 5. With these observations, the writ petition stands disposed of. Order Date :- 22.7.2025 GS (Anil Kumar-X, J.) (Siddhartha Varma, J.)
