And to pass IA NO: 1 OF 2025 Petition under Section 151 CPC praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the High Court may be pleased pleased to suspend the letter, Rc.No.2292/L&O,lll/2024, dated 09.05.2025, issued by the Respondent, while forthwith according to permission to the Petitioner with suitable dates for the 20-day walk from Dhone to Amaravati, as estimated, in the interest of justice, pending disposal of the Writ Petition, pending disposal of the above writ petition and to pass Counsel for the Petitioner(S): 1. GP FOR HOME 3 The Court made the following: ORDER: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India with the following prayer for: “.... to issue a Writ Order or Direction more particularly one in the nature of a Writ of Mandamus declaring the inaction of the Respondent in not giving permission to the Petitioner to walk from Dhone to Amaravati for the cause of Advocates, for passing a bill for the Protection of Advocates and thereby rejecting the application vide letter Rc.No.2292/L&O,111/2024, dated 09.05.2025, for the rightful cause of the Advocates as illegal, arbitrary and contrary to Law much less violative of Articles 14, 19 and 21 of the Constitution of India in the interest of justice and pass...” 2. Heard Sri M.V.Raja Ram, learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Government Pleader for Home. 3. On a perusal of the record, it appears that the petitioner presented a letter to the respondent No.2 vide Rc.No.2292/L&O-III/2024, dated 09.05.2025 seeking permission to go on Padayatra to express their dissent regarding non- legislation of an act for the protection of advocates and since then, however the same is not considered. 4. In that view, the Writ Petition is disposed of. Petitioners are permitted to commence the foot march (padayatra) on 24.10.2025 along with 20 individuals, as per the schedule attached hereto. Petitioners shall furnish the information relating to the accompanying 20 persons viz., their names and identity particulars, to the Police in advance. Police are further directed to videograph the proceedings. Petitioners are further directed not to cause inconvenience to the public or disrupt law and order. Police are directed to take necessary precautions to see that the said foot march will be conducted 4 in a peaceful manner. In case of occurrence of any untoward incident, Police are directed to take necessary steps in accordance with law. There shall be no order as to costs.
