The Medical Superintendant District Hospital, APVVP Proddatur YSR Kadapa District, AP ...Respondents Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed therewith, the High Court may be pleased to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not paying the remuneration to the petitioner for two months of her service as Senior Resident in (Obstetrics 86 Gynecology) at District Hospital, Proddatur of YSR Kadapa District during the period from 03-04-2014 to 02-032015 as arbitrary, illegal and discriminatory and violative of Articles 14 and 21 of the Constitution of India, and consequently direct the respondents to pay the remuneration due to the petitioner for her services as Senior Resident in (Obstetrics 86 Gynecology) at District Hospital, Proddatur of YSR Kadapa District during the period from 03-04- 2014 to 02-03-2015, and also to pay compensation for the mental agony suffered by the petitioner Counsel for the Petitioner: VIRUPAKSHA DATTATREYA GOUDA Counsel for the Respondents: GP FOR MEDICAL HEALTH & FW(AP) Counsel for the Respondents:GP FOR MEDICAL HEALTH FW (TG) The Court made the following order: The writ petition is filed by the petitioner under Art. 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking the following main relief:
“to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in not paying the remuneration to the petitioner for two months of her service as Senior Resident in (Obstetrics 86 Gynecology) at District Hospital,

The main grievance of the petitioner is that though the petitioner worked as Senior Resident (Obstetrics & Gynecology), District Hospital, Proddatur, her salary was not paid during the period from 03.04.2014 to 02.03.2015 by the respondents. 3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Services – I submits that the 2nd respondent issued the proceedings dated 15.10.2025 whereunder sanctioned an amount of Rs.58,000/- (Rupees fifty eight thousand only) towards payment of honorarium/stipend to the petitioner for the period from 03.04.2014 to 31.05.2014 (1 month 28 days) and to that effect, the learned Assistant Government Pleader placed the proceedings dated 15.10.2025. 4. Recording the submission made by the Assistant Government Pleader and treating the written instructions as part of record, the writ petition is disposed of with a liberty to the petitioner to prefer a representation afresh by giving her bank

details to the 2nd respondent so as to enable them to take appropriate steps, i.e. to credit the amount of Rs.58,000/- in the petitioner’s bank account. There shall be no order as to costs.
