ORAL ORDER In this petition, the petitioner seeks the following reliefs: a. Issue a Writ of Mandamus directing Respondent police i.e., C.C.B (OCW East), Bengaluru presently conducting investigation to expedite and conclude the investigation in Crime No.153/2014, under the supervision of jurisdictional Deputy Commissioner of Police, Bengaluru considering the delay caused so far which is evident in Annexure-A. b. Pass such other Orders or directions as may be deemed fit to grant in the circumstances of the case.”
2. After arguing the matter for sometime, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petition may be disposed of directing the respondent Police to conclude the investigation of Crime No.153/2014 under the supervision of jurisdictional Deputy Commissioner of Police, Bengaluru within stipulated time frame.
3. Having regard to the fact that the impugned FIR is of the year 2021, I deem it fit and proper to dispose of the petition by

directing the respondent police to conclude the investigation within a stipulated time frame.
4. In the result, I pass the following:
ORDER i. The petition is disposed of. ii. The respondent – Police is directed to conclude the investigation in Crime No.153/2014 under the supervision of jurisdictional Deputy Commissioner of Police, Bengaluru, as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of four months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. iii. It is made clear that all rival contentions on all aspects of the matter are kept open and no opinion is expressed on the merits/demerits of the same.
