THE HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE NYAPATHY VIJAY W.P.No.31651 of 2025 O R DE R: This writ petition is filed questioning the action of the Respondents in not releasing the retirement benefits of the Petitioner i.e Gratuity, Encashment of Earned Leave etc., though the Petitioner retired from service on 30.06.2024 as illegal and arbitrary.
2. It is the case of the Petitioner that though the Petitioner has retired from service on 30.06.2024 as Station Fire Officer, still his retirement benefits are not released by the Respondent- authorities.

Sri S.Raju, learned Assistant Government Pleader passed on signed instructions of the Principal Secretary to Government vide Lr.No.W.P.No.31651 of 2025 dated 19.11.2025, wherein it is stated that the amounts due to the Petitioner were awaited for fund clearance in the CFMS Portal. It is further stated that new bill Nos.2025-110646 and 2025-110342 were generated for payment of the Gratuity and the same is awaited for fund clearance in CFMS portal. It is further stated that token number with regard to Encashment of Earned Leave are not received in CFMS Portal for

fund clearance and as and when the amount is received, the same would be cleared on priority.

In view of the fact that there is no dispute with regard to the entitlement of retirement benefits due to the Petitioner, this Petition is disposed of directing the Respondents to release the Retirement benefits i.e. Gratuity and Encashment of Earned Leave due to the Petitioner within a period of six (06) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
