In the instant contempt petition, the petitioners have alleged non- compliance of order dated 05.10.2015 passed in SWP No. 2728/2015 in terms whereof, in regard to the claim of the petitioners for regularisation of their services, the respondents came to be directed to accord consideration to the cases of the petitioners and take final decision thereon and pass appropriate orders in accordance with the rules. 2. Respondents besides having filed statement of facts have also filed latest compliance report dated 23.02.2025 accompanied with a consideration order Bearing No. 23-PWD (R&B) of 2021 dated 26.04.2021 wherein, it is inter alia being stated that the case of the petitioners for regularization stands examined in compliance to the order passed by this court and pursuant to the recommendations of the Empowered Committee and was found to be devoid of any merit and accordingly rejected. Having regard to the aforesaid consideration order passed by the respondents/contemnors, respondents seemingly have complied with the order, non compliance which is complained of in the instant contempt petition. 4. Accordingly contempt notice issued is recalled and proceedings are closed, however, with the liberty to the petitioner to work out a remedy against the consideration order if so, advised and if permissible in law.
