The petitioner has been made accused in connection with S.T. No.484 of 2024, arising out of Panki P.S. Case No. 99 of 2024, corresponding to G.R. Case No.1622 of 2024, for the offences under Sections 332(1)(a), 103(1), 3/(5) of the B.N.S., 2023, pending in the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-VI, Palamau at Daltonganj. On 25.07.2024, husband of the informant was murdered by an unknown person. During the course of investigation, petitioner was apprehended on the basis of his confession, knife which was used in committing murder of the deceased was recovered. Considering the fact that confession of the petitioner had led to recovery of murder weapon, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail stands rejected.
