The present petition has been filed seeking following relief(s):- “(i)Issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to grant emergency leave of 15 days to the petitioner as per Digitally signed by MOHAMMAD AADIL KHAN 2 Rule 15 of the Chhattisgarh Prisoner’s Leave Rule 1989 ; (ii) Pass any other order the Hon’ble Court may deed fit in the interest of justice.” 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner had applied for parole by moving an application and submitted it to the competent authority through the Jail Superintendent, Central Jail, Raipur (C.G.), copy of the same has been annexed as Annexure- P/4 which has been received by the Jailer on 23-12-2024 and the same has been forwarded by the Jailer to the District Magistrate/Respondent No.3, but the same has not been decided. The petitioner has moved the application for release on parole on the ground that wedding of petitioner’s sister is to be solemnized from 25-01-2025 to 27-01-2025. 3. In view of the submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to the District Magistrate, Raipur, District Raipur (C.G.) to consider and decide the application moved on behalf of the petitioner for his release on parole within 48 hours from receiving certified copy of this order. 4.
