Hon’ble Shri Justice Amitendra Kishore Prasad Order on Board 06/01/2025 1. An objection has been raised by learned counsel for respondents No.1 and 2 that this petition itself is not maintainable as the petitioner is having alternate remedy before the Registrar, Cooperative Societies under Section 55 sub section 2 of the Chhattisgarh Cooperative Societies Act, 1960 and he has to approach before the concerned authority for redressal of his grievance to which learned counsel for the petitioner has not objected and however he has submitted that the respondent/authorities may be directed to decide his case within some stipulated period otherwise the purpose of filing of this petition would be frustrated. 2. The respondents No.1 and 2 are directed to decide the case of the petitioner upon receipt of the application by the petitioner within a period of two weeks. 3. Since there is alternate efficacious remedy available under the law, I am not inclined to entertain this petition, accordingly it is dismissed directing the petitioner to avail alternate remedy.
