This Court vide order dated 23.4.2025 granted time to learned Standing Counsel appearing on behalf of the State to seek instructions in the matter, particularly as to whether any such application as claimed by the petitioner was field before the Sub Divisional Officer, Harriya, district Basti and if so, then why the same has not been registered till date. Shri Dhananjai Singh, learned Standing Counsel on the basis of written instructions dated 29.4.2025 received from the office of the Sub Divisional Officer, Harriya, district Basti-respondent No. 2 has made a statement before the Court that the case under Section 67-A of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 has been registered as Case No. 6218 of 2025, computerized case No. T 202517140106218 (Majeed vs. Gaon Sabha Badosar) and the next date fixed in the matter is 15.5.2025. Let the copy of the instructions be kept on record. In view of the aforesaid situation, nothing is left to be adjudicated in the present writ petition; the petition has lost its efficacy and is accordingly disposed of in terms of the statement as made by the learned Standing Counsel. On the request of learned counsel for the petitioner, the copy of the aforesaid instructions, has been provided to him by the learned Standing Counsel.
