2. Petitioner is an accused in Crime No.880/2022
of
Venjaramoodu
Police
Station, Thiruvananthapuram. The above case is registered against the petitioner alleging offences punishable under Sections 20(b) (ii)C r/w 8(c), 25, 27A and 29 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (for short 'NDPS Act').
3. Today, when the matter came up for consideration, the Public Prosecutor submitted that the final report is already filed. If that be the case, the petitioner can surrender before the jurisdictional court.
4. Therefore, this bail application is disposed of
B.A.No.3757 of 2025 3 2025:KER:28711 with the following directions. 1) The petitioner is free to surrender before the jurisdictional court within two weeks from today and file a bail application before the jurisdictional court with advance copy to the prosecutor concerned. 2) If such a bail application is filed, the jurisdictional court will consider that bail application in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders in it preferably on the date of surrender itself.
