The present writ petition has been filed for issuance of direction upon the respondent no.4- Circle Officer, Balumath to expedite consideration of the petitioner’s representation dated 9th October, 2024 filed for issuance of online rent receipts with respect to the land appertaining to Khata no.55, plot nos.404, 49, 155, 311, 314/449, 314/448, 313 & 314/452, measuring an area of 11.95 acres, 3.60 acres, 0.60 acre, 0.65 acre, 1.28 acre, 1.24 acre, 0.28 acre & 0.40 acre; in total 20 acres in the name of the petitioner pursuant to the order 5th June, 2015 and decree dated 12th June, 2015 passed by the Revenue Officer, Latehar in Revenue Case No.279 of 1990, which has been kept pending by the said officer for several months. 2. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents refers to the order dated 19th February, 2025 passed by the respondent no.4 (Annexure-B to the counter affidavit filed on behalf of the respondent nos.3 and 4) and submits that the petitioner’s request 2025:JHHC:20350 2 for issuance of online rent receipts with respect to the land in question has been rejected. 3. Considering that the respondent no.4 has already passed the order dated 19th February, 2025, rejecting the petitioner’s request for issuance of online rent receipts for the land in question, there is no need to further proceed in the matter. 4. The writ petition is, accordingly, disposed of giving liberty to the petitioner to take appropriate recourse as available under law against the order dated 19th February, 2025 passed by the respondent no.4.
