ORAL ORDER
In this petition, the petitioners have sought the following reliefs:-
"WHEREFORE it is prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to quash the Entire Proceedings against the Petiitoners herein C.C.No.5248/2023 registered by Respondent Dudda Police Station, Hassan, pending on the file of the Hon'ble V Addl. Civil Judge and JMFC, Hassan for the alleged offence under Section 379 and 34 of Indian Penal Code 1860 and Section 3 and 7 of Essential Commodities Act, 1955 and pass such other

orders as this Hon'ble Court may deems fit to grant in the circumstances of the case to meet ends of justice."
2. After arguing the matter for some time, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petition may be disposed of directing the trial Court to dispose of the proceedings within a stipulated time frame.
3. The said submission is placed on record.
4. The Petition is accordingly disposed of and the trial Court is directed to dispose of the proceedings within a period of six months from the date of receipt of copy of this order. All rival
contentions on all aspects of the matter are kept open and no opinion is expressed on the same.
