The petitioner has preferred present petition inter-alia with the prayer to quash the impugned order dated 25.03.2025 passed by respondent no.4-Prescribed Authority/Sub Divisional Magistrate, Sadar, District Basti. By the aforesaid order election petition filed by the petitioner under Section 12 (C) U.P. Panchayat Raj Act, 1947 was dismissed hence present writ petition. 3. A preliminary objection has been raised by learned Standing Counselthat against the order impugned statutory alternative remedy is available to the petitioner to file an appeal under sub- section (6) of Section 12 (C) of the U.P. Panchayat Raj Act, 1947. 4. This fact is also admitted by the counsel for the petitioner. 5. In this view of the matter, present writ petition is dismissed on the ground of availability of statutory alternative remedy available to the petitioner.
