The petitioner has been made accused in connection with N.D.P.S. Case No. 50/2024 arising out of Lower Bazar P.S. Case No. 138/2024(N), for the offences registered under Section 20 of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the Court of learned A.J.C.-XV, Ranchi. 3. Bail Application of the petitioner was earlier rejected by this Court vide B.A. No. 6693 of 2024 by order dated 26.09.2024. 4. On 25.04.2024, Lower Bazar Police apprehended this petitioner from Birsa Munda Bus Terminal (Khadgarha Bus Stand), Ranchi. On search, 9.800 Kgs. of cannabis were recovered from the possession of the petitioner. 5. It was submitted that the quantum of seized contraband comes within the purview of intermediary quantity. It was further submitted that the petitioner is in custody since 26.04.2024. 6. Ms. Bandana Sinha, learned A.P.P. has submitted that the petitioner is an accused in a case of similar nature. 7. Considering the fact that the petitioner has got criminal antecedent, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail stands rejected at this stage. 8.
